Thoughts on seasonal Poser products

A few really cool Halloweenesque items have come out in the last week or so. As nifty as some of them are, this really irritates me year-after-year. Normally, I start thinking Halloween for seasonal projects in late August to early September, not just mere days from Halloween (or Halloween itself like a few of this years' commercial products were released). I could use these products a lot sooner. As it stands now with things be released right before Halloween, I only bought a couple of things I can see "other" uses for besides Halloween renders. The rest got wishlisted. A lot of it, let's face it, I probably won't buy. Not because it's not great stuff or I don't like it. Just because funds are limited and wishlists are already gigantic. It makes me sad, because I like Halloween and hate to pass up on great products that make me have that, "Oooh, shiny" reaction. However, when themed items are released so close to Halloween, the stores don't give me much choice. :( I always hope that the stores will catch a clue that not everybody has time to do seasonal projects just before the "big day," but they never do. And they probably never will. :(

New Freebie: Emoti-Clock -- Fall Back

I experimented with a similar idea in a scene last fall. I've managed to misplace the original files, but quickly created this one. The zip file contains one image in two sizes as .PNGs. The image was rendered at each size, not merely resized.

Kiki Revitalized Intro Sale Ending Soon

First Commercial Product - Kiki Revitalized Expressions

I'm pleased and excited to announce that my very first commercial Poser product is now at Renderosity! Kiki Revitalized Expressions won't effect most character morphs, including Capsces' Posey. The expressions also work on Kiki 1 (and Posey) and Kiki 2. this gives you a lot of versatility. If you have any questions, stop by my thread in the Daz Commercial Forum. If you use my expressions in your art, I'd love to see the result!

New Freebie: Gummy Gnome PNGs

I've packaged up a few "Gummy Gnomes" (made with Littlefox's Candy and a mix and match of clothing items, and some textues that I made). These were test renders for my textures, but I thought someone out there in cyberland might enjoy the PNGs. You never know... LOL The textures won't be a public freebie. Sorry.
